Model and actress, Natalie Martinez, talked about her setbacks as an actress, in an interview promoting her latest film. She also talked about the importance of not quitting.
The End of Watch star admitted that, even as a successful actress, she still scrambles and fights for every opportunity, never allowing setbacks to stop her.
“I mean, I’m in movies and television and I still, you know, hustle and try to get the next job. You never know what’s coming up next,” said Martinez.
“You’re on this train and you don’t know when it’s going to stop. And the hustle never stops. So, I feel like it’s part of it. It’s part of what makes us strong. It makes us “that” actor, you know what I’m saying.”
“It makes it all worth it, in the end.”
The former star of television’s Detroit 1-8-7 offered a simple piece of advice for actors: don’t give up!
“Whether it’s acting or anything in your life. Just don’t give up.”
“But I honestly feel like, just never give up. Whether it’s acting or anything in your life. Just don’t give up.”
“I’ve had times where I’ve gotten emotional about losing something or something not going through the way I wanted it to.”
“But you have to keep going. There is no looking back. You’ve just got to keep moving forward.”
Martinez currently stars on NBC’s television drama series, Ordinary Joe.
