One of Realtor.com’s major 2026 commercials is “Market Clock – Reba Explains,” starring country music legend and actress Reba McEntire. The commercial continues Realtor.com’s popular “Nearly Home” campaign, with McEntire using her familiar warmth and conversational humor to explain the company’s Market Clock home-search tool.
Reba has become Realtor.com’s most recognizable current commercial spokesperson, appearing across several sitcom-style ads designed to make the homebuying process feel more approachable. Her relaxed comic delivery and trustworthy public image help turn practical real-estate tools into memorable short-form stories.
Who Are the Actors in Realtor.com Commercials?
The actors and celebrities who have appeared in Realtor.com commercials include Reba McEntire, Big Boi, Elizabeth Banks and Josh Segarra. Reba McEntire is the biggest current name attached to Realtor.com’s advertising, thanks to the brand’s “Nearly Home” campaign. Big Boi appeared in Realtor.com’s “Our First Big Boi House” campaign, Elizabeth Banks appeared in earlier Realtor.com commercials, and Josh Segarra has also been identified with Realtor.com commercial work on ActingMagazine.com. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}
Realtor.com commercials usually focus on the emotional side of finding a home. Instead of showing only houses, kitchens and search filters, the ads often create small stories about couples, families, buyers and sellers trying to find the right place. That is why the brand often works well with actors and celebrities who can bring warmth, humor and personality to a very practical subject.
The 2025 and 2026 “Nearly Home” campaign is a good example. Reba McEntire does not appear merely as a singer in the ads. She appears as a comforting sitcom-style guide who steps into stressful home-search situations and helps people move closer to finding “the one.” Realtor.com’s official campaign page also lists several “Nearly Home” videos, including “The One Without the Break Up,” “The One with the Statement Wall,” “RealChoice Selling” and “Market Update.”
Reba McEntire in Realtor.com’s “Nearly Home” Commercials
Reba McEntire is the main star of Realtor.com’s “Nearly Home” campaign. Realtor.com announced the campaign in May 2025, describing McEntire as the featured talent in a new campaign built around laughs, listings and the home-search experience. :contentReference[oaicite:3]{index=3}
In the campaign, McEntire brings the same kind of warmth and comic timing that made her successful in music, television and sitcom work. She appears in scenes where homebuyers are frustrated, overwhelmed or emotionally drained by the search process. Then she enters the scene with reassurance, humor and a reminder that Realtor.com can help.
The first major “Nearly Home” ad, “The One Without the Break-Up,” features McEntire helping a couple whose home search has put stress on their relationship. Realtor.com’s own coverage described McEntire as the new face of the campaign and explained that the ads use a sitcom-style format to make the homebuying journey feel more human.
McEntire works well for Realtor.com because she has a trusted, familiar public image. She is a country music icon, an actress and a television personality. That combination makes her believable as both a celebrity spokesperson and a comforting figure who understands why finding the right home matters.
Reba McEntire’s 2026 Realtor.com Commercials
Reba McEntire’s Realtor.com campaign continued into 2026. iSpot lists a 2026 Realtor.com commercial titled “Market Clock” featuring Reba McEntire, with an air date listed in April 2026.
That matters because many commercial campaigns fade quickly after a short run. Realtor.com appears to be treating McEntire as an ongoing campaign personality rather than a one-off celebrity cameo. Her presence gives the brand a recognizable face and helps connect multiple ads under one larger “Nearly Home” idea.
For a hub page like this, McEntire should be treated as the primary current Realtor.com commercial actor. She is the best-known performer in the brand’s newest campaign and the most likely person viewers are searching for when they ask, “Who is the actress in the Realtor.com commercial?”
Big Boi in the Realtor.com “Big Boi House” Commercial
Big Boi, whose real name is Antwan André Patton, appeared in Realtor.com’s “Our First Big Boi House” campaign. The campaign celebrated the feeling of buying a first home and used Big Boi’s name as a playful phrase for a grown-up, dream-worthy house.
Inman reported in January 2022 that Realtor.com tapped Big Boi for a rare television spot in which the rapper accompanies a couple as they explore their first “Big Boi House.” The ad referenced features such as a “Big Boi kitchen,” “Big Boi vaulted ceilings” and a “Big Boi school district.”
Realtor.com also highlighted the campaign on its own site, explaining that the ads followed a young Black couple realizing their dream of owning their first “Big Boi House.” The brand noted that Big Boi appears and playfully admires the home’s features, from large finishes down to small details.
Big Boi’s appearance gave Realtor.com a different kind of commercial energy. Where Reba McEntire brings sitcom warmth and country-star familiarity, Big Boi brought music culture, humor and Atlanta hip-hop personality. His campaign also stood out because it celebrated Black and multicultural homeownership.
Elizabeth Banks in Realtor.com Commercials
Elizabeth Banks is another famous performer connected to Realtor.com advertising. iSpot lists several Realtor.com ads featuring Banks, including spots such as “Dream Deck,” “Better Schools,” “FOMOHD,” “Map Tool” and “Real (Estate): Constant Change.” :contentReference[oaicite:8]{index=8}
Banks’ Realtor.com work leaned into comedy and fantasy. In the “Dream Deck” commercial, for example, she appears in a man’s dream to tell him he could have found the same kind of dream deck on Realtor.com. That approach fits Banks’ screen persona: smart, fast, funny and slightly offbeat.
Elizabeth Banks helped give Realtor.com’s earlier advertising a celebrity-driven identity. Instead of presenting the brand as only a listing website, those ads used Banks as a comedic guide to better home search tools, neighborhood information, school ratings and real-time real estate updates.
Josh Segarra and Realtor.com Commercials
Josh Segarra has also been identified by ActingMagazine.com as an actor in Realtor.com commercials. The site’s earlier Realtor.com actor article described Segarra as the actor in the Realtor.com commercials and noted that his mix of humor and sincerity made him a strong fit for the brand.
Segarra is the kind of performer who works well in commercial storytelling because he can play relatable, energetic and friendly without making the ad feel forced. Realtor.com commercials often need that balance. The actor has to make practical home-search features feel emotional and human.
For readers searching “Who is the actor in the Realtor.com commercial?” Josh Segarra is worth including in the hub, especially because he gives the page another named performer beyond the larger celebrity campaigns with Reba McEntire, Big Boi and Elizabeth Banks.
Why Realtor.com Uses Celebrities in Its Commercials
Realtor.com uses celebrities because homebuying can be stressful, expensive and emotional. A familiar face can make that process feel less intimidating. Reba McEntire gives the brand warmth and reassurance. Big Boi gives it personality and celebration. Elizabeth Banks gives it comic intelligence. Josh Segarra gives it approachable actor-driven relatability.
This is especially important in real estate advertising. Many real estate commercials can feel similar because they all talk about listings, agents, search filters and home values. Celebrity casting gives Realtor.com a way to stand out. The actors make the product feel like part of a story rather than just an app or website.
The “Nearly Home” campaign is built around that idea. McEntire enters scenes that feel like mini sitcom episodes. The homebuyers are frustrated, confused or stuck. She helps them reset, then points them back toward Realtor.com’s tools. It is advertising, but it is also character-based storytelling.

How Realtor.com Commercials Compare to Homes.com and Apartments.com Ads
Realtor.com commercials fit into a larger trend in real estate advertising: using recognizable actors to make home search feel entertaining. Homes.com has used Dan Levy and Heidi Gardner in comedic executive-style roles. Apartments.com is strongly associated with Jeff Goldblum. Realtor.com has taken a slightly different approach by using stars like Reba McEntire, Big Boi and Elizabeth Banks to create emotional, funny, lifestyle-focused mini stories.
This makes Realtor.com’s ads feel less like direct slapstick and more like situation comedy. The problem is usually relatable: a couple needs a better home, a buyer wants the right features, a seller needs confidence, or someone is overwhelmed by the market. The celebrity then steps in to make the solution feel simple.
That is why the casting matters. Reba McEntire is not just famous; she feels trustworthy. Big Boi is not just famous; he makes the homeownership moment feel like a victory. Elizabeth Banks is not just famous; she makes the search tools feel clever and funny. Each performer helps define a different era of Realtor.com advertising.
