“I think it’s important (for actors) to stand out and make bold decisions. And I think that, there’s not enough people in the world that encourage that for artists.
And I think for me at home in Perth, which is where I am most of the time, Western Australia, you have to kind of take a leap of faith, especially in the self-taping world, with those parameters.
And, getting the audition, the morning that I did the self-tape (for Stranger Things), it was kind of like, how do I step up to the plate and do something really different and unique and that has me stand out?”
