Brief bio
Kim Basinger is an American model-turned-actress who made her film debut in the 1981 David Greene drama, Hard Country. Basinger, the former wife of actor, Alec Baldwin, burnished her image as a sex symbol in the 1980’s and 1990’s with her role as Elizabeth McGraw in the 1986 erotic film, 9 ½ Weeks and as Bond girl Domino Petachi in Never Say Never Again (1986). Her role as the femme fatale, Lynn Bracken, in LA Confidential (1997), would become her signature role, earning her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Basinger also had a string of noteworthy performances in popular films like The Natural (1984), Batman (1989), 8 Mile (2002), The Sentinel (2006) and Fifty Shades Darker (2017).
