    (By Carmichael Phillips)

Steve Carell is an American actor, comedian, producer, writer, and director. He was born on August 16, 1962, in Concord, Massachusetts, United States. However, Carell’s breakthrough role came with the American version of “The Office,” where he portrayed the bumbling but lovable Michael Scott, the regional manager of the Dunder Mifflin paper company. His performance on “The Office” earned him critical acclaim and numerous award nominations, including a Golden Globe Award.

    6. “I think the best advice I ever got in terms of acting was, ‘Don’t be afraid to go for the joke.’ If you’re going to go for the joke, you might as well go for it. The worst thing that can happen is that you’ll look stupid.”

    8. “You can’t make something that’s perfect, but you just have to keep trying. Sometimes you’ll get close, sometimes it will be a complete disaster, but you never know until you try.”
    9. “I love Woody Allen movies, but it’s depressing that it’s always the guys who are neurotic messes and the women who are perfect. That’s not the way the world is.”
